I’m a Portuguese Solution Data Architect based in Braga, with more than 15 years of experience building Business Intelligence and data solutions — always aiming to help teams find meaning in their data.
My path has taken me from software development through BI consulting and a spell leading the BI practice at Salsa — where I worked with QlikView and Qlik Sense — to a period at DevScope on projects involving Snowflake, to where I am today: working freelance as a Solution Data Architect with NoseDat, a German BI company. My focus is now the modern Azure stack — Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Power BI and DAX — alongside infrastructure-as-code with Terraform. I’m currently a Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
I’m a graduate of the University of Minho (Computer Science) and a long-time tinkerer with the open-source tools I rely on every day.
